About Cam Repères

Cam Repères is an independent editorial site that explains how Stripchat works for adults living in France: access, accounts, tokens, safety, privacy and the legal framework. The site is published by Capegate Consulting Ltd., Pacific Corporate Center, Suite 225, Lagoon Road, Majuro, Majuro MH96960, Marshall Islands.

What we publish

Our guides are available in French, Arabic and English. They are written once in French from a single fact file and then translated, so all three versions describe the same market, France, with the same information.

• How the platform works: public rooms, tokens, private shows, VR and cam2cam.
• Safety: logging in, phishing, fake token generators and unofficial apps.
• The French legal framework: age verification, the role of Arcom and data protection.

Our editorial method

Every article relies on sources readers can check for themselves: Stripchat's public pages, texts published on Légifrance and pages from Arcom, the CNIL and Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr. They are listed at the end of each article under "Sources and method".

• No invented figures: we publish no price, user count or percentage unless it appears in a cited source. When something could not be confirmed, we aim to say so clearly.
• No fake testimonials: we publish no invented user reviews and no tests presented as first-hand experience.
• No explicit imagery: our texts and visuals stay descriptive and show no people.
• No workarounds: we never explain how to get around age verification, geo-blocking or payment.
• Corrections: a reported and confirmed error is corrected in the article concerned, in all three languages.

Articles are signed "Cam Repères, Editorial team": this is the site's editorial team, not an individual person.

Funding and independence

The site is funded through affiliate partnerships: the sign-up buttons that lead to Stripchat are partner links, and we earn a commission on sign-ups or spending that come through them. We add no fee of our own. How this works is set out on our affiliate transparency page. No company, Stripchat included, reviews or approves our content before publication.
